Durham | There’s a call for all war veterans in Durham.
The Herald-Sun of Durham reports that the producer of the PBS film documentary series Lest They Be Forgotten will be in Durham next month. Filmmaker Larry Cappetto will be there Sept. 10 and 11 to interview war veterans for his continuing national documentary series.
Cappetto is looking for veterans who served in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam, and those coming back from Iraq and Afghanistan. He also is looking for women who have served in the military and Holocaust survivors from World War II.
Those interested should call Cappetto at (970) 254-9262, or e-mail him at larry@veteranshistory.org.
