The newest (and perkiest) self-help guru of the kitchen is just one of the reasons why the dining area has become the latest room just begging for a makeover. And with all the hot new additions, it’s time to put away the chipped flatware.
“Use your good china; don’t hide it in a china cabinet. Make it a beautiful experience for you and your guests,” says Estelle Baker, owner of The Fisherman’s Wife in Wilmington. Lately, Baker has seen an outpouring of customers looking to bring upscale appeal to their kitchen and dining areas.
So why is there such a push for adding the best brands for these rooms?
Arnie Cullipher, owner of Blue Hand Home & Interiors in Wilmington, has her own idea. “The kitchen,” says Cullipher, “is the heart of the home.”
