Play it again, George

GREAT MUSIC can be found nearly everywhere, from the bars and restaurants of
downtown Wilmington to outdoor places all along the Cape Fear coast. George Clemons is one of those people who helps create the sounds of our region, as he sits on a park bench at Greenfield Lake, enjoying the warm weather while he practices his scales on the bass.

Clemons started playing the bass in 1965 but was recently without an instrument, so a friend loaned him one to play. Great music is all around us. So keep your eyes – and ears – wide open.
