• Boys Basketball
  • Last year: 14-13, 5-7 Waccamaw; lost second round playoffs
    Starters back: 3 – Teron McCullon, DJ Phillips, Sprandon Mahoney
    What’s old: “We’re working to make things we do better,” first-year coach Jerry Singletary said. “The kids know the system, as it’s been in place before them.”
    What’s new: Singletary expects a little more consistency this season, as the Wolfpack would play a great game followed by a not-so-good one.
    Player to watch: Shooting guard Justin Livingston slashes well and rebounds well for a guard.
    Coach says: “We played hard at times but we were not consistent. We need to be a little more consistent in what we’re doing.”
